#3ive got a gmax suspension kit (40mm) cost me bout 200, i dont think its much bouncier than the standard suspension, good idea gettin it lowered sticks like shit to the road wen goin round corners and round abouts!
-
#4depends on how much you want to spend but id go for the PI kit,its about £230 and lowers 35mm.ive only got spax springs et mo but will be geting the PI kit.
-
#5i'm putting an eibach kit in..heard they are excellant and lowers 30-35mm
-
#6yeah eibach are shit hot.beter than PI which i suggested but think their bit more dosh?
-
#7i've had Avo shocks on all my (modified) cars and can't fault them. dunno what springs i've got, they were on the car when i bought it, but i've heard on here that gmax aren't that good.
-
#8bilstein (sp) are great so ive heard but are more expensive!
-
#9I bought the Gmax kit for my MK2 vtr, springs and dampers.
Were ok, but have been told by others that they are rubbish.
I would go for something like the bilstein sprintline, spax or eibach if your budget can stretch that little bit more. -
#10my Avo's were £100 per front shock, £50 per rear. took the car back to get the tracking re-done after my new axle was fitted, and found the o/s spring is broken, so ordered Avo extra-low springs for £60.
-
#11the eibach front springs are costing me £115
springs have arrived...just waiting for the guy to confirm the date for fitment

#12ok, cheers guys!
