Do you need to grind abit off the strut by the top as im fitting mine and grinded enough of the carrier down and the bolts slightly out at top and seems to be strut needs grinding abit?

Yes, they just need a little grinding- dont grind the strut, other threads suggest the carrier. So line it up first and make some rough marks of where you need to grind. Doesn't need a lot of work at all.

The carrier also may end up a little close to the disc, so you may need some washers as spacers- found one side was slightly different to the other for some reason, using the same washers as a spacer there was a slight difference.

This may be the reason people are talking about squealing on some setups... Anyway, just put the disc on first with the torq bolts so you can see how everything is spaced out first, have the washers handy and a grinder ready to take a timy slice off the top of the carrier.
