    my mate has a lupo gti and its been euro'd and looked mint with the bra on but his girlfrind has a standard one and she has one on and it looks sh*t

    bra's are really bad for the paintwork. they might protect against stone chips but dirt and grit gets between the bra and the car which can cause scratches.

    plus they look so daft it's unreal.

    I've got mine for Mk 2 now... got it for a bargin in the group buy from Dubclique. Haven't had a chance to properly fit it yet cos the weather has been rubbish, but had a sneak peak it and looked good. More pratical than anything else...

    Made out of leather, easy to fit took me ten mins! the instructions state seven days and then needs to be taken off for a day or so.
    Also...

    I have to love some people with the responses they look 'shit' wow thats a worthy reply why bother? never going to be an item everyone loves and everyone deserves an opinion but come on gentleman were surely further along than the word shit where would we all be if we all did the same thing ?

    Again why bother posting?

    They are fitted by slidin then onto your bonnet (clean it first) then you strap it tight using the straps connected to the bra. They are very easy to fit and don't take more than 15 mins to do.

    Need one ready for the carbon bonnet, don't want the stone chips now do we!

    For £47 can't go wrong, keeps the paint work nice and stops chips all there is to it.

    No you have to strap them under your bonnet and clip them in to get a decent fit it would be a nightmare to 'rob' one. No easily nicked than anything else on a saxo

    Just make sure the car is clean and there isn't a stone on the underside of the bra and you should be fine.

    Also remove the bra every so offen like once every 6/7 days etc

    So that you basically phone them up and quote a code and you get the discount! either that or just straight payment through paypal (if they accept it) and enter the code at the additional comments and say what it is your ordering!

    Got an email back from autobra saying that they do not accept paypal as they charge 3.5% for each transaction

    They only accept cheque and Credit card over the phone type thing.

    Thoughts????

    Only thing with paying over the phone is that its harder to keep track of payment as I will get an email from him on when and who has paid and if even more people pull out when payment comes he will not give the discount to ten people no matter what!

    So there may be some people who can pay today and some at the end of the month so no matter what way you look at it you will have to wait till the last person has paid to guarantee numbers

    Ok ill update this thread

    tom at autobra has decided we can just phone up and give card details over the phone, tbh makes it a lot easier and he is a sound bloke

    so all you need to do is call 0115 9596485 ask for tom

    just say you are part of the sax-p group buy on the bras and say what saxo you have ie mk1 or mk2

    he will then take your address and contact details along woth payment, will be the agreed price of £47 delivered

    please add you name to the list when you have ordered

    yes you can if you have normal sized hands just slip it under and push the release.

    read up on the thread mate or do a search its been said many times although im taking mine off for now after pcing my car, the bra left a lot of scratches on my bonnet tbh, glad they came out but i hink a protective film on first then the bra will be better if it goes on in the future

    are these stil going for 47£, i payed 75£ for the one on my lupo looks rude tho.
    i have never had any problems with it hand washed the inside a few times and took it of after every use and dont use it in the rain or leave it on for longer than say like 3-4 days even tho autobra say seven that way you keep the bra and your bonnet in top nick

    I bought a bra for my Mk2 vts, and it scratched the hell out of my bonnet, it had been applied to a freshly detailed surface so i dont recommend them at all.

    I actually phoned Autobra to tell them and apparently they have never heard of this happening before and therefore i must have used it wrong.
