Price on brake upgrades new

    hey guys, im looking to upgrade my brakes, not sure what to go for,

    306 gti-6
    206 gti 180
    406 coupe
    etc etc etc

    im looking to buy these NEW from a dealer, how much would i be looking at for this setup and which ones go on with out modifying, like grinding etc etc??

    i currently have VTS rims on

    If your going new then forget the above and look at soime Wilwoods or HiSpec i'd say. OEM brakes will cost a silly price new.

    Hmm ive looked at the hi-specs before but im not sure on them, you heard anything about them pal??

    how about the back brakes? any joy on making them bigger aswell? without going crazy one price lol

    Back breaks are more of a hassle, plus the last thing you want is the back end locking up first so your 99% best to leave them as is.

    HiSpec have a great reputation, as do the Wilwoods, theres a huge list of people on here using them aswell who im sure will vouch for them! (Simo, Rushy, Cloud, Preds, to name a very few)

    Im not sure who to go to for the Wilwoods or which of the two are more brake for your buck. Maybe some of the guys will give you their opinions when the read the thread.
