hello i am running a smooth boot project currently,
any one got any guides etc for boot pop as i will have no boot button to oen boot

you will need a kit with button from ebay mate.

i dont need button as im using my rear wiper button as de-wipered

haynes max power book explains how to di it, but apparently its alot easier if you get the button switch anyway

get the buttom switch mate its a piece of cake to wire in. im smoothing my boot and im gonna be using the same thing

abit of advise needed:
whats best a fiberglass panel
or weld a metal plate across the numberplate bit

fiberglass is probably alot cheaper and easier they both look good but with the welding you have to spend alot of time smoothing off the weld etc and prepping for work all which is fine if you are a welder. up to you at the end of the day

welding s by far the best, those shit panels of ebay are pants, they crack and stick out a bit to which results in more smoothing, dont botch a job do it right first time

Hey peeps im currently smooth my boot, well relly just the badge holes and the boot lock out. But i got one of the boot pops off ebay and im stuck how to fit them lol anyone got a guide.

Personally ide go for metal welded..a lot more rigid than a piece of fibre glass mate.

be careful when wiring it into the rear washer jet lever bit. ive seen it a few times where people are goin along a road, forget about wiring it in there and accidently open their boot.
you dont want it happening when your on the motorway!

hmm...dint have it smoothed over did you tho...i wouldve got it smoothed over...looks alot better tbh in my opinion.
