hope someone can help me out, rep also given too.

basically im looking for some bucket seats for my r.

ive found a few seats i like but am having trouble working out what i need to fit them to the car. do i need just subframes that attach to the bottom of seat then to floor, are they adjustable or is their another way it has to be done?

    someone help!

you can either get frames for the seats that slide forwards and backwards, ones that dont move atall, or you can get ones that tilt forward aswell allowing you to have fixed buckets but get people in and out of the back. the tilting ones are very expensive i think. really you just need to find some subframes that will fit your bucket seats that are made for saxos mate.

the only place ive seen listing specific ones are sportseats4u, im presuming their a good company to deal with as they are advertised on here?

look on ebay for some subframes, for the saxo you can pick them up quite cheap, and as sten said price depdns on what you want the seats to do!

demon tweeks can supply you with car specific subframes too, what seats do you have?

ok it depends whether you're going fixed or reclining.

reclining tend to have base mounts, so will need a specific subframe for the car, sparco do these, available from tweeks or wherever, and you can get sliding or tilt/slide versions.

if you get fixed ones, they tend to be side mounted. these will either need the car specific subframes, or you can weld bars to the floor and mount them to these. these iwll be best if you're tracking it a lot, but it minimises the amount of movement and adjustment you have.
