   any got an idea of how much it would cost to spray a set of wheels white!? any companys recomended!?
   what does powder coating mean? is it just a thin layer of paint!

   company called pristine wheels tel;01908 282628 thats in woburn sands near milton keynes,not sure how far that is from you.mate just had price on his to be done black and was about £60 a wheel but depends on size and what ones they are.

   Ive seen £30 a wheel, but thats without tyres being on.

   i got my own tyrs, thats no problem... what does powder coating mean.....!???

   company in birmingham powder coat them white,and sort all scuffs out.i think its around £30 for 15inch wheel but you have to take the tyres off.i will let you know of the web page when i find it.

   Basically a different form of spraying.. A thick coat of 'powdered paint' Leaves a great, rich colour finish.

    The following quotation is for refurbishing your alloys delivered in off the tyres.
    
    Citroen 16 inch Colour: Matt Black £30.00 per wheel + VAT
    
    Wheels are processed Monday -Friday by appointment.Most alloys will be processed for the next working day although same day turn around can be available subject to finish required and availabilty.
    
    If you wish to deliver your wheels with the tyres on a Strip/Refit/Balance service is available including stick on weights / new valves please add an extra cost £60 + vat per set of 4. Extra time will be required for this.
    
    Also strip or rebuild only is £30.00 inc vat (set 4)
    
    Drive in service available.
    We can book your car in to one of our tyre bays for a complete same day service.
    Monday-Thursday by appointment only .Car delivered 8am -collect 5pm that evening (standard colours)
    
    £60.00 per car (set of 4) + vat .This includes strip/refit/new valves/balance.
    
    All vehicles/alloys delivered with tyres on please provide all locking wheel nuts /spanners for cap removal etc.(please note we use a standard silver which may differ slightly from the original finish)

    powder coating is far more hard wearing than paint, especially come tyre renewal time. White fucking rocks>

    powder coating is when they spray a coating of powder on, its not like normal paint, then when the powder is sprayed on (like spraying the paint) it is put into a over and baked on, the heat makes the powder rock hard so that it cant come off and so its alot tougher than normal paint

    we use powder coating at my work (not for cars). gives the best/toughest finish available.
