I get my cat-back 2mz. Is it going to make a difference to the cars performance or will i have to get the mainfold aswell?
Will it feel different?

#2Hello mate

Mostly sound tbh
Manifold and de-cat together make the biggest and most noticeable difference to sound and performance
Car will feel smoother and pull slightly better lower down -
#3cheers red I WANT YOUR LEATHER lol

#4When i put my ashley on i was very suprised! I could actually feel the difference!
The power was so much smoother and it the tacho was flying in every gear, meaning quicker acceleration. So depending on what zorst youve got, then yes! -
#5yeh deffo mate not as much as with manifold but ull deffo notice i was well happy when i fitted my piper sytem makes the back of my car

#6Get in line buddy

Had offers flooding in over the last 6 months+ i've owned it but only really started to miss my old Cobra Imola's recently so im selling up for another set of buckets
FCS and the Ring to think about aswell so it makes sense i guess...
What cat-back combination are you going for anyways?
Get a SuperSprint manifold and complete Race centre pipe inc. de-cat from here if you can...
www.kam-racing.com
Combine that with a decent back box and you'll love it
Raceland is the cheaper option but dont sound as nice and the quality isnt as good but they are cheaper!
You will notice the difference when the new system goes on. -
#7have a raceland exhaust. sounds good but not as powerful as with standard exhaust though.

#8I went for a cat back sportex with a 3" box. Sounds nice and not loud loud. Can feel a pick up low down and high in the rev range. Had to beat seven shades out the heat shield under the car as the centre box was knocking but its all fine now. Still bedding in tho so still settling down.

#9I fitted piper manifold which de-catted aswell coz its a mk2 and removed middle silencer sounds so nice when put my foot down and noticed the difference.
