Would it fit and de-cat?

   Had a quick search before i posted up and just wanted to confirm that this wouldn't de-cat my car.
   
   I have a 1.4 furio (51 reg) and wondered if the centre section from Kam Racing (this one) would fit, and whether it would de-cat or not.
   
   Not too good at all this shizzle, as only had a 1.1 before and didn't mod that at all... so from what i read, i think the cat for my model furio is in the manifold, so this centre section wouldn't de-cat it i think?
   
   Just asking as there's a group buy going down (thought i'd plug it as well) for these.

   If your CAT is in the monifold obviously this wont De-Cat it. However dont you have a main CAT and silencer under the car? This will fit from the downpipe all the way to the back box.

   Yep i know where it will fit from. The main thing i wasn't sure on is where the cat is on my model car.
   
   In the mani or underneath the car.

   Looking in Haynes, i cant see any mention of the CAT on the manifold but you'll def. have one under the car.

   Will have a browse after food, had a quick gand under there yesterday... thought it was just a silencer on the centre section.

   Centre section should comprise of:
   CAT
   and a silencer.

   The bit on the mani that your on about, I think is the pulse air injection system.
   This decrease's exhaust gas emissions whilst the engine is warming up. The system acheives this by raising the temperatures of the exhaust gases which has the effect of quickly warming up the CAT to its normal operating temperature.

   Park with one side on the curb, should be enough to have a look underneath.

    my cat is on my manifold on my 2002 vtr and a middle silencer is in the mid section. I fitted a performance manifold which de-catted mine. fink a furio should be the same. if you have a large section that looks like a silencer on your manifold that will be your cat so your system wont de-cat it will just remove middle silencer which is still all road legal.
    
    mine is as follows and fink your is the same
    
    manifold with cat-------mid section with silencer-------rear silencer(back box)

    Yeh i thought most mk2 models had the cat on the manifold.
