extending lambda wires

    as above what spec wire do I need to use? obv will solder and heatshrink I know I run the risk of some interference but it needs to be done otherwise the meanifold will metls the wiring its a bit close at the moment y'see

    we extended them on my mate 106 gti when he put his 4 branch on. we cut and soldered them like you said using wire i have in my garage. never had any problem with it either. its thicker than the normal wires tbh. but did the job. ill send some down to you with the rest off the stuff if you want

    got plenty of wire doon here like just need to see if there is anything to be aware of

    don`t think there would be a problem tbh. we did it , and like i say no problems what so ever

    It is better to cut and extend before the lambda plug, as it uses copper wire which solder takes to alot better than the wiring on the sensor itself.

    ah right I get you on the loom side of things

    I will ask around see what people think
