   What do they do?
   
   They make the car breath better. Not a lot tbh. In some cases the 4-2-1 will decat the car, which will make it much louder and more prone to poppling on the overun and maybe the odd flame or two...
   
   Dont expect a massive increase in power. Maybe 3-4bhp

   To put it basically mate, the easiest way to add power and engine response to an engine is to improve the air flow through it, from intake to exhaust. On top of that theres all sorts of complicated crap like back pressure and how certain manifold designs effect torque and BHP in different ways.

   dunno i had a race with a 1.8 corsa 01 plate they are suppost to do 0-60 in 8 secs!
   and it kept up with that so i rekon it had made a difference
