Hi people just went out and got myself a nice shiney posi blue vtr earlier completly standard apart from a massive big bore that looks like a dust bin lid lol but sounds nice and is loud anyway back to the point, i want to lower it and am wondering if anyone would advise me not to have ago at doin it myself? iv got a clear picture quide and am clued up with cars and got all the tools due to having my dad and bro in the motor trade so iv learnt alot from them.

#2if youve got axle stands, jack n everything then i would give it ago, after all may as well give it a shot instead of being a chump and forking out a good £100. I want to try it myself but there is alot of mixed opinions about it. Only thing i can see as a problem really is the bar being so seized you couldnt get it out so i might attempt it and only when i cant get the bar out for sure then give it to a mechanic to do - after all it doesnt really look like that much of a hard job when you look at the diy guides
