How Low??

    I'm thinking o lowering my vtr but not sure how much to lower it by??
    want it to look nice but don't want it to scrape easily...any ideas??

    Go down 60mm looks the best. If youre doing track days then 40mm

    what size alloys have you got on yours? mines got the standard ones..

    and what make of springs would you all recommend??

    i got spax springs and 15" alloys, standard vtr alloys r 14" iirc

    Not too keen on that, That doesnt really look low to me & before any1 goes nuts this is IMHO.

    But i can understand the compromise between having it lowered and reliability issues etc

    didnt wanna go any lower cos i want a lower strut brace and cudnt be any lower than 40mm without smashing it into every speed bump, kerb etc etc "EACH TO THEIR OWN" everyone likes different things

    i think i'd wanna go a bit lower than 40 especially with the 14's on it it wouldn't sit very low i don't think... has anyone got a pic of their's lowered 60mm??

    ours is 50mm front and 50 rear, and its ok and looks exellent (not a big fan of the speed boat look ie60 front 80 rear well wank imo) if it had been mine id have went 40mm!!!

    Mines down 60mm front and 80mm rear, i got it already lowered myself i would off done back the same hieght as front





    im running 16's and no rub at all expcept full lock

    im looking to get mine done as my next mod and iim also unsure of how low, i was thinking of 50 front and 60 rear, what do u think, any pics? bearing in mind I am looking for S rims instead of my R rims

    whats best if you do like 300 miles a week? i want mine to ride nice and handle nice over bumps and stuff but i do alot of miles and dont want it slammed to the deck so it rides like a peice of shite.

    So far ive had about 4 saxos over the last 5 years,and each one has been lowered 40mm all round,they look and handle great!! wouldnt go any lower...
