new clutch

    hi

    need a new clutch been asking around garages for prices citroen tried to sell me one for £500 so they got told where to go. cheapest i have found is £260 fitted. anyone know if there is anywhere cheaper in north west of england???

    do it yourself ? not to hard, can get a decent clutch for £80

    need it done sharpish dont have another mode of transport and i work far away from my home. also dont have garage or anything so would have to be done on front street

    Not being funny but not everyone is mechanically minded, however easy you think it is may be hard for someone who doesn't really have the same knowledge.........

    I got mine done for £140, which was a bargain but I'm down south, sorry!!

    My cluctch cost me £70 from motaquip and i got it fitted for £100! But they also fitted a gearbox as well!

    im not mechanically minded! im doing a bloody VTS conversion atm. however as the OP stated he dosnt have a drive or the time then getting a garage to do it is probably the best idea, was only trying to ofer some advice.
