How many people have had their interior re-trimmed?

   Just wondering how many people have had their interiors re-trimmed? I want my back seats and my doorcards done and just wondered how much fabric people have used to do this? Its being trimmed in leatherette by the by.

   I suppose it depends on how many colours you will be using and which type of material as some material stretches and wraps better, are you going for two tone or just the one colour?

   Just the one colour!! Just a rough guesstimate would be good!!

   In that case I'd have said 6m x 4m would cover it all and leave you with some for the gear lever gaiter and other accessories!!! hope that helps!

   i would say a lot more than 6 metres tbh, best to get more than you need, anyway they should know how much they would need
   
   is it for all doorcards too??

    it shouldnt cost that much mate its not hard to do...how much did you pay? sounds like you got ripped off! but on the plus side it seems a decent job

    id say about 8 - 9 metres you would need tbh, like said always best to get more than you need as if you dont have enough then the next material you buy may differ slightly

    Yeah thats true!! I will get a couple of metres more then i need then, so about 8.
    
    It shouldnt cost too much though i reckon, because i will be supplying the material so they only have to fit it!!

    600 its real leather and all the foam underneath has been replaced and was professionally done not by some odd job mann/women yeah but im really happy with it gunna get the door cards and fronts seats done next

    yeh i was looking at doing this... all doorcards and backseats at least. I can get alcantra direct from a supplier at cost so cheep as fook. 2 colours for back seats? so how much of each.

    im after mine getting done also...theres a place by me who charged 350 for front door cards, gaitier, front seats and rear seats.... in leatherette, but this stuff last just as long imo....everyone i know who has had it, it still looks brand new...

    full leather interior from me would be £595 for a vtr (front & rear seats, headrests & all doorcard) done by a full time car trimmer in real leather.
