Bee Sting Aerials

    Do they have worse receptions than normal aerials? My mates got one and it is terrible, not sure whether its just his though....

    Would like to know, im not gonna bother purchasing one if they crap...

    I had one on my first car... Never got any reception unless it pointed straight up vertically...

    I have one, it looks the part but sometimes radio one gets very fuzzy when im in certain areas but apart from that its fine

    You're best off with a 206 aerial. They are alot shorter than standard.

    trim down ur one and put a rubber bung on the end...home made 206 ariel...works same as normal too...

    mine works fine, and was 12.99 for halfords.

    i bought a nice black ripspeed one from halfords for 7.99, works and looks a treat!

    depends if it's functional or purely cosmetic. sometimes says on the packet

    mine's from halfords. just a normal saxo fitment aerial (not bee sting), looks standard. much shorter than standard though!

    i always buy richbrooke, good quality and no problems with the signal. couldnt do without chris moyles in the morning

    Mine works fine, but i rarely use the radio - its more for looks.
