Can a VTR gearbox go into a furio if so what are the pros and cons?

    Can a VTR gearbox go into a furio if so what are the pros and cons?

    so basically from above can a 1.6 8v gearbox go into a furio 1.4 8v without changing a clutch to match the gearbox as ive just had the cluth fitted on my furio and now the gearbox has gone

    and also if i did have a vtr box fitted what would the differnet ratio be would it be better top end? or better acceleration or nothing at all?

    its got a higher final drive therfore slower getaways
    but if you could pull the gear a higher top end

    use a pair of vtr shafts also as the outer cv joints are bigger , plus one of the 1400 shafts sits into the box slightly further ( due to a smaller diff) and wont fit the 1600 vtr box correctly BUT off the top of my balding head I can remember which bloody side !!!

    and matt the gearbox is fooked basically lol drives like i have square wheels lol
