name the plug

    got my new loom today however some of the plugs dont match and i have some extra plugs.


    i think this is the depolution thingy


    this one is next to the main loom plug


    im missing a plug to the gearbox and this is the only one left but doesnt fit the gearbox.

    is this the same plug but a different connector.

    this is the loom from a 2000 vts so should fit my 2000 vtr?
    i only ask as the plugs look very differnet however there is only one of each.

    First one, charcoal canister, last one, tdc sensor. you probably have the old style sensor.

    If that middles ones a grey rectangular plug with female terminals on it, it connects to the fuse box.

    it has just one female terminal.

    tdc sensor is the white one on top of the gearbox, i have a spare plug that will fit, can i just snip the wires and fit this one?

    nah tdc is on the front of the gearbox, where it meets the block. the one on top of the box near to the breather is the reverse switch, and the one down the back of the box is the speed sensor.

    ive already got the tdc sensor pluged in.

    just found another plug.

    the one you said was the TDC sensor is towards the back of the engine and cannot actually reach the TDC sensor so definatly not that.

    heres pics of the 2 plug i have leftthat are unidentified.

    the one on the right is simailar to the tdc sensor

    show where abouts on the loom it is, one in your hand look like fuel cut off switch
    the one above is fuel cut off switch, just had a look at mine

    must be, its long enough to reach, im happy with that, cheers tim.

    anyne know the other one, could that be the reverse switch?

    show me where ti connects the loom and ill go have a look at my loom outside,

    cant get a pic atm, joins the rest of the loom at the starter if that helps
