Need a new exhaust.

  1. #1
Went out last night and my exhaust started blowing and making stupid noises so need to get it replaced.

What could I expect for about £300, don't want to de-cat it as I don't want the trouble of changing the cat for MOT.

    Anyone got any links etc.

    Cheers.

    Was thinking about this- http://www.kam-racing.com/product_in...ucts_id/100300

Will that work with mine? They easy to fit or would it be a garage job?

Double checxk its not just a joint blowing mate, its free to tighten up some bolts

Yeh I've had a look, but can't see anything. It's all going to be changed eventually so thought I might aswell upgrade.

£30-£50 fitted at my local exhaust place which isn't too bad I don't think . Hopefully the Supersprint one will fit.

Supersprint will fit fine, would go for a different backbox imo though.
  9. #9

    Cheers lads,

Any reason why you'd go for a diff back box? Which could you go for?

    Ta

ive always used the same center pipe as backbox seeing as they were designed together
  12. #12
Yeh that's what I thought, didn't really want to mix 'n' match unless there was a good reason to.
  13. #13
Lots of people mix 'n' match, just because they're the same make doesn't mean they HAVE to be put together.

Piper backbox + supersprint centre would give you a nice sound, and performance probably equal to the ss backbox. Depends what your after overall, performance / type of sound..
