Considering smoothing bonnet mk2

   Right i have a idea for my mk2 bonnet and i need to smooth it first. If i do this where is the best place to locate the the bonnet pull, should i make a air intake hole in the smoothed section and place it there? If i smooth the bonnet will it affect the performance as their isn't any large locations for the area to pass through, and could i also buy a vts twin fan + rad and put it straight into my vtr? Thought this could make sure the car wouldn't overheat if i have the vts fan + rad

   i know someone with smooth bonnet and he had to get rid of his bonnet catch which imo is a little risky but im not sure if there are other ways around it
   
   doubt it will make any noticable differences to performance but maybe bonnet raisers could be good to let heat out better?

   i think smooth mk2 bonnets look wank - mite ruin the look of your car?

   lol noo thats just my opinion, its your car so its purely your desicion on what to do, by sounds of it you like them so go for it. About the catch, i read somewhere that theres a way of extending the lever so you dont have to put your fingers through the grill (becuase there wont be one). If you didnt have any other means of cooling, the car would heat up like a bitch

   i have a smoothed bonnet n my car never even passes half way on the temp gauge so dont no what your talking about.
