Mechanic for hire

#2tried going to a garage and getting a quote.
if you are prepaired to spend 3k on parts then getting a bodger to do it isnt sensible. -
#3Try RickyP-RPM - based in West Yorkshire, really reccomend him
-
#4how old are you? what previous experience have you had with saxos? got any photos of previous work?
-
#5I think he's looking to hire one not offering his services...
-
#6sooo he is my baaadddd
-
#7i swear people never read threads atm.
-
#8wer abouts in warrington you from mate?
-
#9what he means is.. theres plenty of cowboy mechanics out their who dont know shit, so he is not speaking shit, :/
not every mechanic knows 100% of everything either, they may have no experience with the TU engine or those certain mods etc -
#10and you can fuck off with shit like that tbh.Quote:How are mechanics bodgers? Just because they dont own a garage you class them as a bodger? you speak some shit sometimes ryan imo
Im trying to protect members on here from just going to someone with alot of expensive parts and end up with them being put together incorrectly, where the member has no come back if this happens!
I think the sitation with john atm which im currently trying to deal with and the amount of threads abusing him shows the way people act on here when it comes to money.
now think before insulting me next time.

#11Explain how he is chatting s**t please.Quote:How are mechanics bodgers? Just because they dont own a garage you class them as a bodger? you speak some shit sometimes ryan imo
He is trying to give some good advise. Imagine if "16valver" went out, spent a few thousand on parts then paid a 'mechanic' to fit the parts. Then the 'mechanic' fitted them wrong... What would he do then? Make another thread on what a fool he has been?
If "16valver" went to a proper garage to get the work done, then its more likely that it will be done to good standard. If it wasn't then he could go back to the company and complain, possibly get the work re-done to a good standard, or get a refund.
Please have a look at this table before you continue chatting your bubbles.

#12you go to an established garage and you have some comeback if it doesnt work out. You call a guy to do it who has no base and you have no comeback. Thats all thats trying to be said and as for saying ryans talking shit for sensible advice - thats just plain stupid

#13I wouldn't key any random garage build my engine anyway as there's bodgers all over at least its Easyer to take a registered garage to court for bad work compaired to a random person. A bottom end rebuild isn't a simple job anyway if they dont torque it correctly for example and bits come loose its engine bye bye
