I did it myself mate. I wouldnt bother using the pre-cut film. Its too expensive. Just buy a big roll of the stuff and do it yourself.

Mine came out okay, and i was quite impressed for a 1st attempt.

    All you do is...

Take the rear quarter windows out
    Clean the window
Wet the window with soapy water, and make sure it is very wet!
Cut out a big square that is bigger than the window
    Place film on glass
Work out the bubbles and water using a credit card or the squeegy which comes with the film
Trim back the edges using a sharp craft knife
    Leave to dry
    Put window back in

Where in cov are you from mate?

The only thing about doing it diy after a while it might peel, I did it myself on my clio and as u can see on the back window where it has a curve on it i didnt have the proper tools to prevent it cracking, The back window had creases all around the back window

  10. #10
if it cracks like on your clio can it be fixed or removed easily im wondering weather paying the extra for profesional is worth ti as the tints film and the tint fitting kits retail at about 30 pounds for both ?
  11. #11
Yes it should be fixable it was only hard on the clio because the back window has quite a curve on it which the saxo doesnt have much of.
Good luck if you try yourself tho ive never done it myself on the saxo, just went straight to the pro's

cheers i may just save and get it done by pros duno if i can justify the extra 110 pounds tho is it worth the extra money incase they crack or peel would you get a warrenty or anything?
  13. #13
Yeah i have a warrenty on mine, you have to wait 24hours for the last part of the water to dry up to complete it, If anything goes wrong with the tint they will find it back in there workshop.
