Uprated Throttle Bodies

   Hi Guys
   
   Anyone know of any throttle bodies i can bolt onto my VTR from another higher spec citreon or Peugeot?
   
   For Example, i put a 2litre Mondeo throttle bodie on my 1.6 Fiesta SI once before in the past. Im thinking about doing this to the VTR but dont know which one would be an exact fit.. Any ideas?

   i know i can be done coz remember someone i met at a garrage tellin me he did it, will probable need to be of an 8 valve, you wanna look at ones off a 1.3 rally or sumit.

   theres a port and polish service that someone is selling on here, thats probally ur best bet.

   No point in putting vts one on cus it wont fit and you wont see any gains cus its marginally bigger. And youve still got the stanard inlet manifold.
   
   Best bet is the 106 rallye inlet manifold and throttle body.
   
   Its bigger and the whole inlet is cast aluminium.
   
   Dont see any point in porting the TB. They are not supposed to be smooth. If the inlet is textured the air mixes with the fuel better. The exhaust ports are the ones you need to port and polish!

   would day putting a vts or vtr throttle body on a westcoast make any difference or would the rallye throttle body make any dif on a westcoast??

   is the rallye inlet an throttle body a straight swap on a vtr? or do sensors have to be changed etc? and will it fit a silver top vtr?

    once you enlarge the throttle valve, the ECU remap
    must be come with, since the light press paddle will
    like the half press even full press as before.
    
    both ignition & fuel should be adjust. or it is possible
    slower than before.

    Thanks for the idea's guys, think ill be going for the inlet and throttle body off a Rallye then... As long as its not too much hassle to fit.

    should go straight on mate will fit any black top 8v no problem at all, done some askin about, aparently ul get a fairly decent gain, some one said ul get like 8-10 bhp, not sure if ul get that much but ul get a pritty good gain for not much money!!!
