im a bit bored and want to change my car, its just lowered with alloys and the moment, iv always said il keep it like that cos i hate "over the top" cars!
i was thinking maybe darkerned out back lights? and tints? or is that tacky?

Small minor mods that will be sweet..

Painting brake calipers, tinted rear lights, colour coding the black trim, smoked headlights, french pressed plates, removing the 16v badge, fitting a short aerial..

good ideas i like the aerial one the best lol its huge!
the brake calipers are painted blue but cant see them very well in the pics.
alot of people can tell its a vts with the 16v badge on so i duno if i wana remove it or not? i like the color coding idea

2) er VTS wheels? not those alloys but makes not much difference tbh

why not VTS although i prefer the VTR ones.
t-cut back badges,darkened rear lights,dimma grill?

are you going to do anything to the engine?
if you are before you do any mods,give it a good service,decent oil not cheap crap,use decent plugs not cheap crap same for filter etc.
then give the engine a nice clean jetwash FTW.
atleast then your off to a good start,
the amount of poeple i see at me local car factors who buy the sh'test oil,fuel etc etc and done up cars is amazing.
this car pulled up once lol,fiesta ST zorst on loud music etc he walked in and said whats the cheapest engine oil you do?
Itwas like re-claimed stuff,£3.00 a litter.
unbelievable really.

TBH it looks nice the way it is. Change the wheels, I prefer VTR's to the VTS' though. Cheaper aswell.

Can pick up a decent set of VTR for £100 or less, like your current ones though suits it nice and is a bit different from the standards ones.

mods - as above t-cut the badges

get the rear windows tinted a few shdes darker than the front and it will give the impression that the front ones will look done - too dark and it will look naff

Stainless steel exhaust full or back box lol which ever you can afford

as you said vtr wheels or C2 vtr/vts and change the door badges for "citroen sport" or vtr - the surprise on a wee bammers (chav) face would make a great pic !!!

smoked jewel tail lights and smoked fronts !!!!

the only thing i would do is take off the 16V badges off the rear quarter, but i think your car looks good!!!!

Refurb the alloys to grey or anthracite (not black - been done)

De-badge the boot and smooth the lock off the plinth. Or even smooth the plinth into the boot.

De-lock the doors.

This is kinda the situation im in, ive just got my alloys which look tidy gave a full good service no cheap exceptions, got toyo proxes on them and only bought the best oil, new fuel filter, oil filter etc and popped an induction kit on their, cleaned engine etc.

Aint lowered yet due to insurance and seeing what the MOT comes back with...

anyway erm a was gona tint the windows but mainly just make the interior smart, so u reckon the back windows should not be done to 100%? and i need to t-cut the body work which im doing to 2moro but what happens when you t-cut the badges? also the 1.1i on the side... shall i just leave that on or replace it with a saxo.

Not tryin to be a boy racer just want a smart car even tho its a 1.1

When you t-cut the badges all it does is rub off the silver on them back to a black finish,just done mine then put car plan bumper wax on them just got to put them back on.

i had those wheels on my saxo up untill 2ish weeks ago lol.. sept mine when G-League by Koing.. exact same design though..!

id take off the 16v badge though..looks very 'halfords add-on' IMO

There quite nice them wheels. Would look good.

Subtle mods are best imo. Same as you, i dont really like 'over the top' cars.

EDIT: just noticed your from southend, see loads of over the top cars down there! No wonder you dont like them lol

I think your Saxo would look nice with some dark VTS rims, I did some chops (cos I was bored lol) so you can see how they would look like

Anthracite VTS wheels

Tinted windows

Shorter aerial and 16V badge removed

Same mods as above but with white VTS wheels

best thing to do is go to a saxo meet and have a look at other peoples mods in the flesh (metal/fibreglass), chances are there will be every type of alloy in every colour you have mentioned. Then you will have a better idea of what u think is good and what u wana do with ur sax.

Theres a tunny wells meet and the blue water meet quite soon, if you pop down il let you have a look at the rims then and you can decide if there for you or not..

I'd take it back to standard if i were you and do sutble mods, i think they look loads better than the outlandish type!

subtle mods like, painted standard alloys, poss colour coded, tinted windows/lights

I'm more of a performance modder than asthetics tbh... So i already like the look of the cars when i buy them so never really change much, usually just lower it and get wheels refurbed!

I really don't like the wheels in that link, they're too small and in my opinion they will ruin the look of your Saxo.

As for the tints I would get some legal ones with same darkness for back and fronts, don't do the same mistake as everyone else by going darker on the back windows cos it will look crap.

t-cut the badges black (if you need t-cut ill give you mine free i done mine and it looks great 3/4'S of the tube left so if you want some your more thean welcome)
go back to either vts or vtr rims in graphite grey
i dont think colour coding really does it 4 silver cars

your car looks dead smart anyway so nice n subtle would o it well
