PI lowering springs and what are they like?

50mm pi springs would you still need to change the dampers

Never used them mate but alot of people on here disagree with them.

Going below 40mm it is advised to replace shocks with uprated ones unless yours are in clean good working order as there will be alot of stress on standard dampers going that low.

Also if its mk2 saxo you will need to slightly bent the power steering pipe out of the way as it rubs when going lower than 40mm.

If you search some threads mate you will probably find that most people have lowered there cars 35-40mm for handling as they say its best alround ie track and on the road comfort and looks.

Mine is down 60 front and 65 back and sits near enough level but slighty higher at the back and it seems to handle better than standard by along way but not sure how much difference between 40mm and 60mm handling.

Thats my opinion though mate so do what you like, have a search and see how you feel mate

Changed dampers too mate being down 60mm, was going to just get the springs but thought about how long standard dampers may last and thought may as well change them at the same time rather than messing about later if the standard ones failed.
