#8You can do these. You need to locate the manual trigger part of the remote wiring loom.. two wires..
-
#9would be really useful if some makes a guide for this as i def want to do it to mine.
if some1 will locate and tell me where they are il give it a bash and make a guide

Some of you may have removed the door pins, and as a result have no way of operating the central locking from inside the car.
Some alarms â Toad etc have an anti hi-jack feature, which activates the locking on startup.
One way of unlocking the car is to use the fob, but a more practical option is to have a button/s to lock/unlock the car.
What you need:
8amp wire or similar,
Either 2 push to make switches or a toggle switch
Crimp terminals
Removal of glove box!
How to do it:
Remove the glove box â behind this is the passenger fuse box â just above this, you will see a brown connector on the right hand side.
Disconnect this connector for easier access.
On the connector there are small numbers.
You need to use wires 6 and 9 for locking/unlocking
If using 2 switches, wire one of each switches to an earth, and the other to either wire 6 or 9 â an easy earth point is the earth point next to the door.
If using a rocker switch, the central connection will go to the earth, and the other 2 go to 6 and 9 again.
Mount the switches in a location which you can access easily, but which is not visible from the outside â tidy up the wires and then reconnect the brown connector.

look at the pic above ^^
brown connector is at the top above the fuses
