Hello ladies and gentlemen I need some help Ive read some of the other problems that people have and mine are very similar,

Ive got a VTS and its having some real trouble its been in and out of garages for the last week or so, its had a new head gasket, new seals for the gear box, cam belt and a radiator.

It was running very poor before leaking oil like anything and really jerking on tick over and just cutting out. I read the one about changing the coils and im going to do that,

I just got the car back yesterday and now it seems to be overheating which it never done before im pretty sure it has been bleed properly tho, I was wondering about the misfiring do you think that my timing could be out??????

any ideas i would appreciate the help.

yeah i think most cars are the same get one thing done and then a week later 10 other things need doing! Def give the coils ago cause that may sort it out!

if its had a new cambelt then take it back and get them to check the timing?

as for the over heating.. someones tried to flush the engine / radiator and didnt use a header tank on the expansion tank which causes air to be trapped..

on the saxo the top radiator hose is higher then the expansion tank which requires a header tank.. u cud try a upturned bottle but this doesnt work all the time...

most prob coil pack also check the connections under the bonnet as mine had this problem and cleaned the plugs out and run alot better also could be the injectors as this quite common with the saxo's now and my friend had to replace a fuel pump on his so don't rule out its being starved.
