where does the fuel line on a vts go through the bulk head? pictures would be appriciated.

both the fuel line and the return go through on the passenger side, under the brake servo and to the right a bit as you're looking at it. Can be quite fiddly to get to.

hmm same place as a vtr im guessing then. think citroen have sold mne the wrong pipe asked for the pipe from the fuel rail to the rubber gromit in the bulkhead. and it doesnt come near
AM i right in thinking that the return line on a vts goes behind the inlet manifold then into along the back of the engine bay?
also can anyone recomend a place ot buy the rest of the line from ?
might resort to poaching around some scrapyards next week.

    Sorry for the long post . . . . . .

I got a full set of fuel lines from a vts that was being broken - cost me £20 delivered. Would definately recommend it as they are all pre formed, and have the Citroen push connectors on the ends. I think they are around £70 new from Citroen, depending on which ones you replace/add.

I dropped the tank out to be able to sort out the hoses at the fuel tank. As a had the return plumbed in at the fuel tank (1.4 Westcoast) and made things a lot easier to see what was going on, plus I removed the FPR from the fuel tank, as the VTS have one in the fuel rail.

These is a bung in the bulkhead. I fitted the vts bung as it has 2 holes for the fuel lines, whereas my old on had only one. The bung comes out the engine side, instead of interior side and needs a big pull. Your bonnet cable also runs through it so will need to disconnect it if you remove the bung. I'd recommend removing the bung, and making a hole in it for the return line, you'll see what I mean when you come to it.

Also, I've just pushed my bung slighty in for now, but plan on taking the dash out at some point to get it in better, and clear up the sound deadening behind the dash, as the original line runs underneath the sound deadening, and I cut a slit along it to help removing the sinle line.

Would recommend taking the dash out to fix it all properly, should only take a day/2 to drop tank, remove passenger chair, remove dash, remove single line, plumb in twin vts lines.

Give me a PM if you want anymore info.

Edit. The bung is behind the upper main fuse box, to the right of the brake fluid tank, obviously in the bulkhead. Follow the bonnet release to find it as it goes through the bung.
