boot install

I have previously posted about putting studio speakers in the boot of my car, and found out that they are compatible- although, does anyone know- if these speakers are just sitting in my boot, will the volume still be ok, i dont want to install them and find that because they are in the boot the noise is dampened

the sound will be dampened unless you remove the back seats and parcel shelf completely. Unless you are using them as subs and only allowing lows to it then thats fine

ok, so if i do use them as speakers and dont take out the back seats, will the sound quality be crap?

Also, do you know how much it costs 2 take them out?

if you are going to pay to get the back seats taken out why dont you just spend the money on putting new speakers in the doors and the shelf (sorry scott yes i am talking about 6x9's).

why would you pay to have your seats removed. just remove them yourself????

yer, i mean wont they have to be flattened out so it is one long floor from the boot to the back steats? If i take out seats myself are they easy to put back in again?

back seats r so easy to take out mate, theres like 6 nuts u have to unscrew, 4 for theback bench and 2 for the actual seats, do it in 5 mins
