    AND NEED TO UPRATE THEM!!

you could fit a quaife differential to your current gearbox and keep standard shafts, or fit a be3 box from the xu pug engines. This would need the ma-be bellhousing, not sure how the shafts would fit though as you'd either need modified pug hubs (which has been done) or have custom or pugsport shafts (£1800 a pair iirc).
Unless you're running huge power, vtr box with a quaife diff should be ok.
edit: actually i've just re-read it's a vtr you're turbo'ing and not a vts, thought it was just a vtr 'box you had. In that case vtr 'box is fine.

Depends what power you're planning on running? Standard shafts will be fine, best thing to do to strengthen the box is fit an lsd as this is the diff is the weakest point on the MA box. VTR is a good choice box for boost as the ratios are longer than the vts/xsi/rallye/gti.

YEAH THATS WHAT I WAS THINKING, FITTING A QUAIFE DIFF AND SEEING HOW IT RUNS!!

HOPE TO BE RUNNING 200 BHP +, BUT THOUGHT THE DIFF WOULD BE THE WEAKEST POINT!!

A QUAIFE DIFF IS ABOUT £500 RIGHT?? BEEN LOOKING FOR ONE SECOND HAND, BUT CANT FIND ONE!!

ANYONE KNOW OF ONE FOR SALE??

You could try ebay or the other saxo/106 sites for a diff!

are you Incapable of posting without using caps lock?

Quaife diffs almost never come up second hand budget at 1k for diff fitted. If a diff Is out of your budget then a be conversion deffo is
