saxo bumper "rub strip"??

    Something is currently driving me MENTAL. I saw a pic on here of a saxo which had what i can only describe as a "rub strip" on the bottom of the front bumper. It was a thin piece of plastic that attaches to the front of the bumper at the bottom (some very low supercars have them i remember) and sticks out like 2 inches. Sorry if this is Vuage but i cant remember what they are called and i want to look into puting one on my sax but i cant for the life of me remember what they are called or even where the pic is anymore. sorry for the waffle

    no - i apologise for the shit description before. I am actually gna go to the trouble of drawing this some time because i cant explain it very well. If it helps, i i remember clarkson nearly removing this specific part of his bumper when coming out of an underground car park in a supercar in a top ger episode. I would describe them more as a lip than anything else

    yes an no ... i mean its more like it, but the one i saw on a sax continued futher round the bumper - was amazing and just finished it off real well.

    never seen it on a saxo myself however you do get them on the clio.....check jungle_jims progress thread. Not sure if it would fit or anything though

    just sounds like a front splitter to me

    and i think clarkson had to do that do the zonda

    yeah it was the zonda mate. i know its probs something very obvious .. but i couldnt think at the time and thought it looked good on the saxo i saw a pic of. im gna keep searching for it.

    well it seems like i was making a fuss for sweet F A. Needless to say what i saw was a splitter - i mean to me it looked to stick out further. Nay mind eh - pretend this thread doesnt exist.

    oh yeh i know the thing you mean, it was carbon fibre wasnt it? i was after one of those but yet to find one for a saxo. they do look the sex though!
    maybe ask streamline if they can do one???

    thank god i wasnt going mad. I only saw it briefly, but presume it was carbon fiber ... looked fit! i may have to once i have earned some cash
