power 4 my c2 gt

    ive just got a c2 gt and ive already got a 4inch backbox on it but was wondering what else could i do to beef up the power as i was racing a m8 in his vtr and he pissed all over me and i havent seen that many induction kits 4 the c2's

    no it doesnt.

    Same route as you would take on a saxo. Back boxes really dont do anything for power on our small cars.

    Full, exhaust, maifold, enclosed induction kit are your starters

    kk but i was wondering is there ne fing else i could do 2 get even more power out of it ie supercharger as ive come into some cash and i could most probably afford it lol and no it has a normal gearbox

    You need a full system for a start e.g magnex then either a BMC or a Viper after that a GMC manifold thats what i`ve got on my C2 VTS.
    I havent had it RR`d yet but i can feel the difference mate

    ill ave to try that then harper how much all that set u back? is there ne tubo'd or superchargerd c2's? i had to break in my new car by givin it a bit of a thrashin but i aint gonna kill this 1 thats 4 sure its 2 nice

    No turbo`d or supercharged yet cituining are on the case tho

    Have you not been on C2 Sports Club mate there a lad on there called lazy_arse_pie from Liverpool he`s got 19`s with a bit of scrubbing he just rolled his arches and its all sorted now,and hes got it lowered on coilovers mate,its a GT by the way.

    super charging can be done but not cheaply, the BSI and ecu are a complete cock at the moment to try and fool, so a standalone motech unit is the answer at the moment, GMC had charged the vtr but the seperate ecu for the senso drive would wipe its memory ever time so that it wouldnt work

    no reason why you cant run nitrous oxide (nos is a brand name and a shit one at that).

    If your wanting nitrous then look at nitrous express

    A guy on c2sc had nitrous and fucked his engine gutted cos it wasnt covered under warrenty

    i think you should concentrate on not bending it round a pole first

    Nitrous if fitted and used correctly shouldnt blow engines

    there are a million and one things i'd rather spend £600 on than nitrous, eg ecu remap/cams/full exhaust/enclosed filter/manifold/headwork. i'd rather have the extra power all the time than just in short bursts.

    think insurance has prob got a lot to do with it, and also he's gone from a 1.1 to a C2 Gt, that's a pretty big step if your used to driving a 1.1

    got my nos i got a 50bhp dry kit on there and a 10lb bottle of the great stuff didnt bother timing myself traffic was a nitemare but its awsum its activated when the accelerator pedal is pushed to the floor i love the stuff gonna ave 2 get a refil soon tho

    dry kit, meaning it doesnt have a jet to add extra fuel as well? Didnt think the ecu would be able to compensate for that amount...

    yeah a dry kit is where you just have 1 line the nos line and a wet is where you have 2 lines one fuel one nos the car is running ok so far (touch wood) i dunno how they went about fitting it it took them ages 2do it like and i gotta go dwn again 2moz so this dude can show me how 2 use the progressive controller

    my mate blew his up by kickin it in too low down the revs, the torque causes A LOT of stress on the engine. did they rolling road it with an AFR gauge to check the fueling was still ok and not pinking?

    went down to cardiff 2 day my progressive controller is a piece of piss 2 use i asked the guy steve if he could add a fuel line so a £100 extra and i now have a wet kit and they put it on the rollers it runs even better now and now with the controller set up i can put as much or as little nos as i want. just gotta watch thos speed cameras now lol
