carpet,body clips etc

    Have had my VTR for a few weeks now and im sorting out all the cosmetics before i start putting any power into it.
    First of all; the carpet in the car is showing its age, has a small hole and a few stains, do Citroen still sell the origional carpet as id like a new one, also any ideas on price?

    The arches above the front wheels are coming away a tiny but, a clip must have broken, i have all the new clips from citroen. do you have to take the whole VT kit off to fit them? How do you replace them without snapping anything?

    The black sidestrips on the car are in good condition apart from a small scuff at the back, it looks like its attached to the VT kit, is there anyway of replacing them?

    Need a new arch liner, they hard to fit?
    New boot carpet as its manky, can you get them from citroen?
    Also in time, i fancy a 106 gti inerior if i can get one in mint condition or some nice reclining buckets in the front and new rear bench as that is starting to come away due having a baby seat in the back by previous owner.

    Last of all; how much would it be for a respray of bonet and possibly doors?

    A new carpet from citroen will cost over £300.

    hmmmm make a list of what ya want and ill get on the citroen parts database or you can do it yourself by going to the website links and going to the citroe parts catalogue thread in the stickies

    sidestrips its either new or get them all colourcoded

    arhliners are easy to fit, which do you need rear or front??

    respraying all depends on if you do the prep work, but for them to do it from scratch expect to pay up to about 400

    £300 :O i thought citroen parts were meant to be cheap!!!
    I want;
    -New carpet
    -New boot carpet
    -Possibly new rear bench and backs...

    Any ideas on the questions i asked would be a help too

    rear bench - what trim is it exactly, you would be best to get some of these parts from a breakers tbh mate, you will end up paying a fortune at the dealers

    its the VTR trim with the little different coloured squares on it.
    I think i could hold off the seat etc for a while, its the carpet thats getting to me

    try steam cleaning the carpet, and then get some car mats as a temp fix
