can u get a dump-valve for a saxo??

    my girlfriends brother had 1 on his scooby and i thought it sounded gr8

    just wondering if u can get them for saxo's??

    not planning to put 1 on the 1.1

    but planning ahead for the vtr/vts/gti

    Only if its turbo'd mate, you can get electronic dump valve's but there pretty shite if im honest.

    oh rite i thought it mite b turbo related

    i wont bother wiv that plan then would be gr8 to hav 1 but the turbo would push the insurance sky high

    Generally you'd need a turbo as mattg has explained but there are some tacky bolt ons out there that will make the dump valve sound, like this: http://www.rtecshop.com/index.php?p=...roduct_id=4162

    seems cheap and nasty but if you want more power and the dump valve sound then this might be the ticket

    cheersmate i fink ill just leave it off

    either have the real fing or nothing

    dont wanna make it sound tacky or cheap just gat a nice exhaust system and leave it at that lol

    i only stuck it in this section cos i dint no where else to put it

    i thought dump-valve could be considered detailing but im no whiz wiv car parts and which section they belong in

    was just messing with ya mate easy mistake when your new,,

    this is the cleaning section where detailing means really clean shiznit basically try performance of styling etc,,

    im defo not gunna go 4 one of these electric fings cos every1 reckons there crap

    so as i cant hav a real 1 ill just scrap the plan till i get sumthing i can hav a dump valve on

    any suggestions on what u can fit to make it sound better other than an exhaust system??
