i sprayed my grill and it turned out crap! so im gonna do it again
what grit sand paper should i use and how long should i leave it before i do it?
  2. #2
ud prbs want some rough paper to remove most of the paint.. then some smoother stuff just to touch up the rough bits a little..

leave it for at least a day maybe.. enough to let it dry.. sanding wet paint is a bitch tbh lol

if your using cans you will be able to sand/flat after a couple of hours
depending on what you call crap?
if its gone like crazy paving?
or has it reacted and bubbled up?
one you can reflat dont recoat heavily
two you need to remove the paint and start again
    hope this helps

its just ran really badly and is uneven cos i just did it really quickly and stupidly
plus the insides of the corners arent coming out properly
is there anything i could do to prep it first or spray on after?
like sand it or add primer first? add lacquer after?
    thanks

you should reflat with a course grade wet/dry 240 grit
when you have all runs etc out a couple of thin coats of primer
reflat with 800 w/d you should be able to see a good surface
    if not reprime and repeat
when a good enough surface paint slowly to avoid your
    previouse mistakes.
when you have the coulor on laquer it after about 20 mins
