Grill and lights help

  1. #1
i recently sprayed my grill but it turned out really bad
really uneven and drip marks and evrything all over it
could anyone give me some tips onto how to do it so it looks good?
should i do any prep work to it first? like sanding it? using primer?
    and what about lacquer afterwards?
    thanks

also, would standard VTR rear lights fit easily onto a furio? or would it require some kind of work or anything?
    thanks

All saxo rear lights are interchangeable!
Vtr has the same rears as the other saxos! Do you mean mk1 > mk2?

With painting - take your time, prime, then paint, then lacquer with several thin coats each time!

heat your spray tin with a hairdryer. warmer paint comes out more even

tbh you dont need to sand it down, as long as the surface is clean. stick on a few thin coats of plastic primer, each of which will dry in about 15 mins probably. then a few coats of the paint, again thin coats but with more drying time in between is best. if your getting drip marks then your applying way too much paint at once.
