I've heard from a couple of people that the early phase 2 saxo VTS's had 130bhp instead of 120bhp, does anyone know if this is true? As I have a 2000reg VTS

never "officially" proven, but it was early mk2's that had the prongs for the egr valve on the block but no valve and still had the cat underneath the car

yes they are on the front of the block above the exhaust manifold, but as i say it ahs never been proved so even if you have all these it may not have 130

the egr (exhaust gas recirculation) valve is just above the exhaust pipe in the middle of the engine.

for about 30 seconds when you first start the car up it vents hot gases back to the engine to aid warming the car to safe working temperature
