il have to admit i have them fitted all around but it goes with the theme/project im doing.

if your saxo is standard then dont do it mate! if your goin for a full out rally look then yes maybe!

i dont have any though! if i had the standard ones i wouldnt mind i just hate the look of my car from the back! looks so shit cos its not lowered and i dont have the money to lower it
would lowering the rear 40mm and not doing the front look stupid? how much would it roughly cost to get that done and would it ever cause a problem with going over bumps and stuff?

by the look if it ur on a tight mission to do up ur saxo .. if i was u leave it n save up lmao.. mud flap look gay! dnt doo itttt lol

Burra's right, dont be so keen to modify ur car mate. save up and get it done right because bodge jobs cost more in the end! If i was you dont really focus on the looks of the car yet, you'll regret it, dont save up for mods on a slower car either, in my opinion you have to have a good engine fondation to work with b4 u modify ur car, id say saxos gti's etc are probably the base level... anything below that probably isnt worth it!

    bit random

but i wanted the standard mudflaps but heard there a right arse to fit
    is this true

    probably...

I naily took a sledgy to my saxo when i was trying to adjust the wing and i couldnt get the arch kit back on right... so i'd imagine if they use the push clips then yeah they will be a twating nightmare

Nasty!!! I personally think you have to go with the rally look, i.e. wheels/brakes,suspension, all of this just for flaps to look good just isn't worth it!!!

I dont mind mudflaps, most people on here hate them as you can see. At the end of the day its your car and you can make it look exactly how you want to.

dont get those off ebay, you get them in halfrauds also!!!!

we had 2 sets of mud flaps and i had to take the front onse off cause we had big alloys and it was catching them still got the rear ones on!!!!

There not too bad, wouldn't buy a set though. Like some people said, go better with the rally look.
