#2E-tech strutbrace is about £70-£80. cituning do an alloy one and a steel one, £85 and £45. they also do an Omp lower brace for £25. they stiffen the front chassis and stop flexing when cornering. gives more grip, better turn-in and improved steering 'feel'. lower brace improves even more, although some lower brace catch on bumps if your car's really low.
-
#3etech strut brace also looks very nice, i have one an its made a big difference, which was quite suprising!
-
#4my cars lowered about 45, wil that be too low for a lower brace? would it make sense to get both strut braces or just the higher one, or just the lower one?
-
#545mm will be fine. you'll still notice a big difference with just the upper brace, but seeing as the lower one is only £25, i'd get both mate
-
#6yeah i was thinking of both, but i thought would this be pointless and not make sense, but i also thought it could make it alot better, thinkil go for the upper and lower ones then, cheers for the help!

#7What about rear braces guys? can u get them for a vts? I've heard they rnt tht good on some other cars
-
#8never heard of them, anyone else got a comment on them?
-
#9i no they do them for other cars but not sure bout saxo?
-
#10saxo doesnt have rear struts, has a torsion bar.
-
#11Silly question probably - but how do you fit a lower strut brace?? The upper one was easy - I`ve got a feeling the lower one will be a pain.
-
#12bolts between the wishbones. not sure how easy/hard it is, never fitted one.
p.s resize your avatat mate(arioch), takes feckin ages for the page to load.

#13totally slipped my mind bout the torsion bar not struts. anyone know how good a full powerflex bushing kit is for tightening up the handling?
-
#14Any pics of the steel strutbrace??
is it stainless steel or what? -
#15yeah i forgot bout the torsion bar too lol
-
#16For the top strut brace do u have to relocate anything to fit it? it looks like a tank wil be in the way on the right hand side on my vts
-
#17One the Etech one I had to take my bonnet stay out.
And on some others you need to move the Fuel Cut off switch to slightly lower down. -
#18i also had to take bonnet stay out!
