is this normall?

   took my EGR valve off today and fitted one of Jam2008 removal kits! once i had taken it off n stuff i started the car to make sure everything was ok......but it would tick over just cut out??
   
   then i managed to get it started and was reving it for a few seconds then it worked fine?
   
   is this normall? is it just because the car has to get used to not having the EGR there has to sort of like re program itself!
   
   When i got the EGR off i took everything off even the pump down in the bumper look at pic for what i mean is that ok?

   never had any problems taking mine off, you havent knocked the coil pack connection or anything around there off have you?

   its not an EGR valve though so it doesnt do that.
   what you have took off pumps fresh air into the exhaust ports for a few seconds on startup, this it to comply with some european emission laws. even though you've took all that out you'll still have the holes into the exhuast ports in your head.
   
   saxos dont have EGR valves.
