Tick over

    right my tick over is running to high ad i need to turn it down but there is a tiny little screw and i cant see what i can use to unscrew this can some one help me please

    yeh i cleaned mine up today and its fine now its jus its running bit to quik as revs r on 2000 constantly need to turn de tickover down slightly

    you cant "turn down" the tick over, its controlled only by the IAC valve and associated sensors. if your tick over is high then you have a sensor issue

    or an air leak ? cracked inlet manifold ?

    Yeah true that would cause problems, but thats certainly less likely that the average saxos sensor issues. Which lets face it, are pretty common!

    ive had all my ICV cleaned up today and that stoped the stalling how do i go about geting this high reving sorted it only revs at 2000 once the car is warmed up to liek half way

    Clean the other sensors as above man.

    I uprated my sparkplugs the other day to a set of Bosch super 4's and i didnt think they'd make that much difference tbh but the car is smoother, quieter and the rev's dont stay anywhere as high as they used to anymore

    what cnai clean the sensors with and i have 4 bosch super plus plugs sitting rite next to me know which will be goin in soon
