VTS Box on a VTR??

    Hey dudes, had a search but couldnt find anything..

    Will a vts box be a straight swap with a vtr or do u need a new speedo cog or something? Thanking you..

    yes should be mate...i think that you will loose a bit on acceleration and gain on top end (dont quote me on that one though!)

    ive heard of fitting all other boxes to a vts, but not a vts box going to a vtr or smaller model, the vts drive shaft is slightly thicker i believe due to having abs, the s box will fit to vtr, but im unsure if you will have driveshaft problems

    its the opposite mate, quicker acclertion but loose a little bit top end

    and im pretty sure the driveshafts fit fine, just something ive heard about a speedo sensor?

    I put a VTS box on my old AX GTi and had no problems with the shafts so I'd guess you'd be fine pal.

    same got a vts box on my 1.4 lol no change on drive shafts, though i didnt do it the mechanic bloke did.
