boot strip

   how do you take the strip off the boot that is above the reg, the thing that surronds the key hole?
   
   As i'm going to spray the key hole today but dont want to get it on the strip, but dont want to brake owt, so does it just slide off ?

   i imagine it would be clipped on. try removing the boot plastic inside might give you a better insight. if not. use a hammer
   
   or just mask it up?
   
   
   btw what do you mean your going to spray the key hole? this could damage the lock and it might stick up u know?
