lowering quote

   Im looking to get my car lowered and my mates just had hers done and payed £300 for it!! is this a bit overpriced??
   
   anyone know of anywhere in my area who's any good??

   my car was lowered for about £220.
   
   shop around Vicky and go into your local garages and ask them
   
   some of my mates have had their car lowered for £150

   price will vary due to what parts/suspension kit being used.
   cheap set of springs supplied and fitted and rear adjusted to match will be cheaper than
   a full suspension kit including new front and rear dampers/shockers and springs fitted and rear adjusting.
   i'm not too far from you and if you dont mind a trip up i will be able to sort it for you.

   I brought my own springs for my 205 GTI and only got charged £60 to fit them and setup the torsion bar, this was from a performance car specialist, so advize to shop around!!!

   if you get your own springs etc then its around 80-100 bucks round here..thats for the front and back btw

    I've had 3 quotes so far
    
    -150 (without springs)
    - 80 (With Springs)
    - 75 (with springs)
    
    Thats fitting springs and torsion, seems pretty good to me
