Anyone got experience of spax suspension?

Ive got their shocks and springs on a 40mm drop..they were on the car when I bought it. The car is excellent through corners and the ride is not anywhere nearly as bumpy as I thought it'd be. Only problem is speed bumps

Im just wondering if its worth spending an extra £250 over the cost of a spax kit to get a bilstein kit.

People rave about the Bilstein kit - but I can only imagine the bilstein kit comes into its own after uprating parts, bushes, matched springs etc.

I have the spax PSX kit and have found it to be good, car handles as good as/if not, better, and the kit is relatively cheap, and have had no problems in the 2 years of owning it.

From reading you blog, I reckon you'll want to go with the Bilstein kit, with matched springs, uprated bushes etc. as this'd be an awesome setup for the track.

Depends what your using it for mate. If normal road driving spax is fine but if your running it for hillclimb/sprint like ya profile car says then billie group N. Or billie b8's if there too pricey. if you goin group N then bushes and top mounts would make a massive differences too.

I had a vts on a spax psx kit and tbh i couldnt fault it, then changed the car to another saxo and had b8's and sportline springs fitted and to be fair the billies are a level above the spax.

Just seems to be so much more control through cornering whereas the spax kit i found that you might get abit skittish if not careful on small bumps through cornering, the billies just seem to iron out bumps like this whilst remaining nice and stiff. I guess thats what the extra money gets you lol.
