Discs

im running a standard 1.1i saxo on 15" alloys, i have a problem with the discs overheating to quickly. is there any straight swap that i can do for like VTR discs and callipers, or any other way? im tempted to get some green stuff pads due to the harder compound which will possibly give me slightly longer usage before fading.
its not stopping power that im lacking its just brake fade which is causing the problem.

Ive got some vtr front calipers you can have for £40 posted.

    Come with good pads too.

All you would need is discs, which are circa £10 each brand new.

make sure they are ventilated discs, will allow more heat to get out so will take longer to fade.

would they be a straight swap? or would i have to get a bit to convert them?

    where do you live?
i have some homeless vts brakes - full set up.
    are you a 4 stud?
if yes... its a straight swap.

for a straight swap you need to have the bleed nippples on the callipers and the bolts for bolting the calliper to the hub from the vt callipers as the nipples on the 1.1 callipers are smaller and the 1.1 bolts are not long enuth for the vt callipers

you also need some hands on the end of your arms. if you have none of these then, also, it will not be a straight swap and you may struggle.
