Chip or Not?

Got a VTR is it worth chipping it & what sort of price am I looking at?

    Is it really worth it?

it's better to get other mods done first and then remap the ecu in order to see the most gains from all other mods. eg get an enclosed induction kit, exhaust etc etc and then remap the ecu. better off with a re-mappable one like dastek, as superchips are a bit hit-and-miss.

What sort of price is the remapping going to cost?

not sure tbh, but have a look at the dastek website to give you a rough idea of what's involved.

its not cheap. but by the time uv got mods done that r worthy of getting ur car chipped for...ul hav spent a fair bit anyway

u could start with the chip, but tbh - its pretty pointless until u get other things done

look at the dastek website, or contact gmc in stewartry...the'l tell u anything u need to know. also gmc highly recommend the dastek unichip
