changing a tailgate, easy or not?

   ive seen a mint posi blue bootlid in my local scrapper and i want to put it on mine, you see mines got a spoiler on it (was already on when i bought the car) and i want rid of it, is this a 1 man job and how long should this take? i'm fairly capable with the spanners, thanks.

   easy job mate
   
   just 4 bolts to hold the boot on and the strut things have 1 each
   
   i did mine on my own, its just removing the wiring through the small holes is a pain in the ass but you wont have any trouble i doubt

   its just 4 10mm bolts, undo wiring and undo boot struts and thats it mate
   
   you will probably need to people to do it though beacuase its hard holding the tailgate in place with you get the bolts in

   easy as just make sure you support the boot otherwise can clunk you in the head

   the wiring is also easy as its brittle will just feed straight up and if ur like me ull be able to get your hand a good way down any way

   as everyone said, its pretty easy. The loom can be a bit of a b*stard apart from that its alright.
   
   Again, get someone to help you hold the boot open when taking it off and putting it back on
