Brake discs problems.

   Today i noticed that both my front discs have a line around the centre, well near enought the centre, as if theres a stone stuck between the pads and dics and scoring the disc.
   
   I checked for any stones but nothing there, wheels spin freely and no grinding so what can it be, its all the way aroud the discs on both sides.
   
   Very annoyed as brakes are near enough brand new and are mintex drilled and grooved discs with mintex pads.
   
   Anyone come across this before? Can i resolve this problem?

   only wy you can be sure is to check the pads mate, theres sometimes gap in the pads on some, and some are whole so could be that somthing is wedged in that gap, just take them off and have a look

   Ok mate thanks, there solid pads so no gaps in them, ill whip them out and check for any crap in there, probably the crap on the roads got in there.

   your gonna have to either get the discs skimmed or buy new ones anyway

   Right it was s**t in there, grit on the pads, cleaned them up and pads are fine, discs have slight lines but there isnt a groove in them from it.
