Saxo camshaft

    Could someone help me, i have a saxo westcoast with a induction kit & full exhaust system.I just bought a performance camshaft for it what do i need to do to the negine to get the best performance out of it.I've been told to remap it.

    What induction and cam mate?

    A remap will match the car's performance to your spec much better and you really need to get it mapped to see proper gains when cam'ing.

    yeah a re-map would make it runs its best mate, just make sure you have done everything you want to do to the car before you get it done (4 branch,de-cat, headwork, etc) so that you dont have to remap it again in the future

    if you post what cam you have will be easier to suggest the next stage. Some cams won't run well on the standard induction.. others all they need it a remap..

    Thanks for the help i have NEWMAN camshaft and a k & n induction kit. Also where can i get it remaped?
